I have the chickadees in my back yard pretty well trained, but they haven't shown up yet. The same bunch come every year. Some will feed from my hand, some won't. Some just sit in the tree, some "buzz" me trying to scare me away, which shows that they have individual thoughts, and don't do things on just instinct.
