NVLS is doing very well on Anticipatory downswing.. I would take profits into the close leaving only a fractional (incremental short positions and of course the 30 puts for August) When a stock before earnings bites down for 4 straight sessions, we would like to take the major portion of the profits BEFORE the report, even if we have to leave some profits on the table (It's infinitely more superior than waiting for years and years for stocks to hit prior highs, we are in great shape being that we are short this market).. Every once in a while we'll get caught "with our shorts down" but by the next day its down even more.
