Murphy is in the rain shadow behind the mountain... so, desert dry. Where they are putting the mill is in scrub country in the desert in the lee of the mountain. That is basically where I suggested they should set up shop two years ago. Nothing wrong with that location, but, they should have done what they are now two years ago. The tailings are on top of the mountain, within a couple hundred feet of the top, and a couple thousand feet higher in elevation... not in the rain shadow on the east side of the mountain...

A big pacific storm came in yesterday. It brought a warming trend, and a LOT of moisture... The first wave has pushed out, with a second just now coming in.

The weather pattern in the west is cooler and wetter than normal, right now... which seems it could mean were in for an early and wetter than normal winter... which could dump massive quantities of snow on the mountain in November... the timing on which it is typical for rain to become snow.
