I didn't see the interview with Gardenhire but it makes sense. I told Suzy at the time that the manager may have felt he was risking the kid's arm for a ballgame, important thoough it was: there are managers who will do that. You had to believe he wanted the kid in there if at all possible. Sooo, once again your boys wriggle off the hook; like a fish you've fought for hours, think you have him but he never gives up and as you're about to gaff him he slips free and away; to play another day. Wallop, later turned into the Broadway play and movie aptly titled "Damn Yankees.] But I tell you this my good friend and trading buddy; this time, if given the opportunity, we will not let your boys wriggle free as we did last year and so many Bucky Bleeping Dent years.
