OK, easy now....

do you see the character you want in the chart?

Look in the bottom of the box, you'll see a number like "alt+0163"

Remember that combination. Go to where you want that character inserted, Hold down the alt key andpunch in the numbers on your number keypad, the character should show on the screen.

BTW, are you on Mac or PC? I know this works for PC but have no familiarity with Macs.
