there were 228,000,000 tons of plastic in the U.S.'s municipal solid waste stream in 2006.
If JBI could get its hands on 1% of that it would be 2,280,000 tons. Or 17,328,000 barrels. Or 727,776,000 gallons. Or $1,819,440,000 worth of diesel.
I don't know how that trickles down to the bottom line. I assume JB is not placing all his bets on P2O because not only does he need money up front to bring P2O to the marketplace, but he understands the need for diversification.
