I still find this very very suspicious:

On the Scanbuy website (http://www.scanbuy.com/web/):

The PR published on Tuesday, October 6, contains this language:

"Scanbuy has the largest and oldest patent portfolio of any company in the industry, with over 30 patents granted covering the entire solution. The company's investors include Longworth Venture Partners, Masthead Venture Partners and Hudson Ventures."

But the previous ones, including the one published on Monday, October 5, contain this language:

"Founded in 2000, Scanbuy has a strong and growing intellectual property base in 2D barcode technology. The company's investors include Longworth Venture Partners, Masthead Venture Partners and Hudson Ventures."

Soooooooooooooooo.....Why did someone go to the trouble of changing the boilerplate stuff that they include at the bottom of their PR's? Where did the 30 come from?
