It's really quite simple. MMs were shorting the ever lovin crap out of this stock in an attempt to dismay shareholders on the date before and after the UCAD dividend was to come out. As someone else posted earlier its much easier to cover the UCAD dividend then it is the total amount of CMKX that is shorted.

Also I spoke to E-trade Canada. They assured me the shares would be coming and would be in my account tomorrow at the latest. I asked what would happen if there were no more shares to give out because the stock giving the dividend had been shorted to a large degree. He said that those shorting would be in "deep trouble and forced to pay".
