gatt, you're right - there is obviously an "art" to writing patent claims. Sometimes I wonder why IDCC makes it so easy for others to shoot holes in their claims language. But just like in a big football game, there are going to be bad calls by the officials. I guess the appeals system is sort of like "instant replay". At least we will have a chance for a review of the tape.
