very well said. The first thing that came to my mind when I read the decision was how can the ALJ conclude that the scramble and descramble code are two separate, individual actions? You would think that it makes sense when a basestation scrambles a code to send to the handset, the handset must use the same encryption to descramble same code. otherwise, how else can the handset figure out that that scrambled code was meant for that UE?

that was very puzzling to me along with the fact that he thought that all the claims should apply to basestation.
