Bruce (or anybody else), I'm really happy with the various things I've now added to clean out these spys and cookies, and to block them.

I've now added the ACE Start-up Guard, and SpyWares' Blaster and Guard.

Problem for me.

I need access to a chat format like Yahoo or ICQ or MS Messenger. One of my daughters is half a continent away in third year University and she is deaf. We talk almost every night on Yahoo Messenger.

Yahoo won't log me in, now that I've blocked their cookies.

I went to their site and read the info on their cookies. It looks like they won't provide the service (log in) unless I allow their cookies, and their advertisers' cookies, to spy on my system.

I'd rather not let them do that. Anyone got any suggestions for a work around, or an alternative.
