Sep 14, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Bio-Clean International, Inc. on September 3 announced the formation of American Construction Services, Inc.
According to a release, Bio-Clean International, Inc. will own a 49 percent minority interest in the new corporation, with John P. Finn, President of Bio-Clean International, Inc. and the newly named President of American Construction Services, Inc., owning the remaining capital stock of American Construction Services, Inc.
James E. Shipley, President of Bio-Clean International, Inc., stated, "We expect that American Construction Services, Inc. will be granted certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) shortly. We also expect to obtain licensing as a contractor in the near future. Because of the planned status of American Construction Services, Inc. as a SDVOSB certified business, we believe that American Construction Services, Inc. will be in a good position to bid on and be issued contracts on numerous government projects, including those involving environmental clean-up and bio-hazard remediation through the use of our own environmentally-safe cleaning fluids and those of our Teaming Partners."
Shipley went on to say, "John Finn brings his years of experience in the construction business with one of the nation's largest home builders to the table. His knowledge of the industry will be of great benefit in ensuring the success of this new endeavor."
Bio-Clean International, Inc. offers exclusive, non-toxic, bio-remediation fluids providing an environmentally-safe solution. Its products and machines have been tested and shown to be in complete compliance with environment regulations, in other words, "Cleantech".
Its majority-owned subsidiary, American Bio-Tech Cleaning, Inc. (ABT), designs and manufactures customized parts and weapons washing/cleaning systems that are eco-friendly, using a water-based cleaning fluid integrated with a self-contained bio-remediation process.
The company also maintains a minority interest in Veterans Training Corp., (VTC), which is also a SDVOSB business based in Southern California and provides a range of training programs for a variety of clients including the U.S. Department of Defense.
