You are wrong, dead wrong.. Those that shorted this the most were shorting at around $11-3/share. The .05 to .10 current share price difference is miniscule as they are already pocketing 80% of up to $10.85/share.
The whole point is after 1 yr these "shorted shares" are only taxed at around 15% tax rate instead of 36% if prior to 1 year settlement date.
