It's funny to witness the frantic bashing activity today ... Looks like this is one last all-out attempt by shorters (regular and naked) to convince us to sell. I expect the real covering to start within a couple of days since there are now less than 10 trading days available before the RS.
And yes, a CUSIP # change will force naked short covering (see the last paragraph on that page http://www.americanmicrocapinstitute.com/featuredcolumn2.htm for details), anybody who tells you otherwise is just lying (with an agenda, keep in mind the bashers are not (completely) stupid, they are just trying to scare you). This is not to say that NSS will not resume once the RS is complete, but we'll be starting from a clean slate, and the SPNG exec team might have other tricks in their sleeves to keep that in check ...
So I'll keep my shares thank you very much, and I'll cash in sometimes in 2010.
