Funny (and yes I read your reply too Kastelco) - I go there and (well I suffer from crappysmallmonitoridis.com) - like the fonts are huge for the peoplemark. I go to options and can't see anything for it to adjust. You go to profile and see your password in plain view.

Further, when I go to any of the old SI links I had before, including those posted here on Friday, they all fail. Now I haven't checked but - have the actual message ID#'s changed? or just part of the URL is different? Part of me is surprised that they didn't receive the old "link" and internally adjust to the "new" (though if the mesgids are totally out of wack, well nothing you can do).

Well merging the two or not - I agree with you all (including amarksp) - do they actually make enough from people buying "both" services to warrant the two systems? I mean if there is very little "duplicate" subscriptions (and can they even determine that really?) I agree it makes no sense in having two systems (except I am sure there are turf wars somewhere).

Further, I am actually scratching my head why they didn't just grab the entire iHUB system and convert all the data to that version? Still run the sites independently if they want but at least both systems would be equal and any enhancements could roll out in tandem (perhaps a few weeks off each time).

Kastelco - so you love conversions then? HA! At the place I use to work at there are actually people that do that for a living. Not sure about your past - but I was stuck doing the odd one here and there - not pleasant - even though the tools side was always about the same, the underlying subsystems all were different. My boss typically tried to keep the conversion prices high enough so that the most we did usually was just convert masters. That works ok for some parts but not for the likes of the GL/accounting data.

But to actually go to work on a rainy Monday morning knowing that you are going to begin working on a new conversion project today - jeez - someone hand me a mop or one of those fancy blue shirts at wal-mart.. bad enough for me to actually go somewhere and not do conversions..

As for me...
Two accounts with AGI doing well; MR has a little more life on Friday..(only down about 28% now!!!! ye-haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!) and AQI too.. sorry I am so disinterested in the gold stuff that I really can't bring myself to jump into anything (esp when AQI for example, is moving mere pennys on light volume). Thinking of passing on next week's Mining conference - though if I miss it I will never know how all the gurus think Gold will surpass 500-600 and beyond...

My wife still owns some SU from $26; there was a play around 36 between Aug 26-Aug 31) that I missed - but thats ok.

Trusts doing well (AE/Viking) - esp some good performance gains on the Cequel/Progress merger/trust spin off. The PGX_U.TO is up about 15% plus payout.

CPST - shaking my head - tis all...

cheers!
