A basher, in my own words, is someone who spreads only negative information about a particular stock… Takes any evidence and consistently twists or skews it to appear completely negative or to create doubt… A basher tries to make it look like his/her negative opinion is in fact the only possibility and never acknowledges the possibility of any positive evidence or circumstances. A basher completely ignores anything that cannot be spun negatively. Sometimes a basher will fabricate false scenarios in an attempt to discredit a company or someone whose opinion they disagree with.

Bashers often have ulterior motives… A common motive, though not always the case, is to beat the pps down so they can buy it cheap. Sometimes bashers have lost in the past and are simply bitter about that and attempting to get revenge on what they perceive as the cause of their loss. Those are but a few common basher motives.

There are more than a few people on this forum who fit some aspect of the definition above to some degree. I don’t have to name names. It is fairly obvious.
