Hello Tom - re VGMPX and 403b

Hi Tim, I see you have at least one business sector fund - the precious metals VGPMX. I would like to suggest that these sector funds may offer good diversity for the sector and greater volatility to drive the AIM engine. Take a look at VGENX to add a specific Energy component, for instance. I'm sure there's more business sector funds available.

Vanguard has closed VGPMX to new money, so that's frozen for now. This'll surely change after the market turns up and the run on gold fizzles.

I can also own VGENX, VGHCX (Health Care Sector Fund), VGSIX (REIT Index Fund) or VGSUX (Utility Sector Income Fund). I own some VGSIX, and hadn't considered the others. VGHCX seems particularly high now, and I had thought that the days of big profits in utilities had passed.

I presume you don't think of REITs as a sector.

Thanks for the advice - best regards Tim
