If they trully have 800 students that translates to about $8Mil to$11Mil a year..As good as an oil gusher...
Not exactly. Once a well is drilled, an "oil gusher" is almost all profit. A school has lots of overhead. Having sent my daughter to a private high school and having paid $14,000 a year tuition, I can attest that the tuition for the 1200 students that attended didn't cover the expenses of the school. The school also received money from tax allocations allowed under state law and on top of that the parents had to participate in lots of activities to raise money. The capital costs of buildings were obtained by donations from alumni and foundations.
While private high schools can make a profit, they certainly aren't "oil gushers."
