Olddlog--No bond would have to be posted by IDCC whether it appealed an adverse ITC decision or whether it intervened in a Nokia appeal of an ITC decision. The only bond provision appears to be during the 60 day presidential review period, but only if the ITC orders one. In the event of a ban and the case is appealed to the Federal Circuit, it appears that the Federal Circuit may stay the ban pending appeal, but I have not found any cases that order a bond be posted by the side appealing the ban in order to get the stay.
