Hi Tim, As Barry Savage likes to remind us, AIM's a "volatility capture device."
It needs amplitude of volatility in excess of the base settings to get trades executed. Frequency of fluctuations isn't necessary, but the more the merrier.
It's the compounding of LIFO (last in, first out) gains that drives portfolio growth from AIM's side of the effort.
