Nokia tried its best to have IDCC patents declared as
invalid and did not succeed.

Nokia has wounded IDCC but that wound can be healed
and once that happens, Nokia will be facing
a stronger opponent. Nokia knows that.
We will see if Nokia will be reasonable.
IDCC has a bottom line and IDCC should not
go below it.

They respect IP and are willing to pay fair requests.
They reiterate that the idcc patents might have been overestimated but do NOT say that they are invalid or worthless.

They will legally defend teir rights against any "unreasonable demands".
