4 years is meaningless, it just gives him several years to think of reasons why U.S. can't get out in 4 years.
His 4 years statement was floated out and dropped like a lead balloon as i think it should.
I don't trust Kerry and the man has lost any confidence i had in him.
I have contempt for the Bush team and at minimum an emphatic dislike for Kerry.
One his 4 years and we are out is predicated that by then all will be well because he has a solution when however there is no solution( except my favorite fantasy of U.N. actually getting it together and working hard to make Iraq Three separate and distinct countries)
He has no more solution than the Bush crowd.
All he says about how he would have pursued war better and differently is of NO impact as one can say ANYTHING on how one would have pursued the matter, it means nothing.
And from the moment he said yes to the war he was WRONG and it was not a case of his being spineless, it was because he believes in this war.
He can say all he wants about he would have managed the war better, but ANYBODY can say that, it is a forever unprovable.
AM, all can pound me with reasons to vote for Kerry(even my wife, as she does:), hard fact i do not vote for people i neither trust, like nor have any confidence in.
It would take a miraculous intervention when i go into the voting booth for me to vote for Kerry.
I am also NOT voting for Nader nor, of course, Bush.
My write in for president will be what is in my head at the moment, at think i will write in Maureen Dowd or Krugman or Bob Herbert at this moment( as they are what keep me reading the NYT)---the only excitement for myself will be who i will write in at the time i am in Voting Booth.:)
