It's my strong believe that the following trends are just starting

-The transformation for a voice-centric network to a data-network based on IP/MPLS. Not only Voice, but video, TV and other new services will be built on these new networks. For example, BT last mont announced that it will completely transform its existing network in a VoIP network, that has the same reliability as today's network.

-Many large enterprises are starting to build their own virtual network.

-The software enterprise market is moving to a new architecture, one that is much more agile than todays and one that is web-based. It's early days, but i see it happeing.
