Fair enough, but the majors are in deep trouble IMTO
(INTC, HPQ, CA, IBM, CSCO, JNPR, EDS, MSFT, et al) all like to talk in futures but use all the tricks to inflate earnings. Acquisition accounting is aggregious and the hype and forecasts such as nationwide broadband adoption are absurd. And you have the Gartners of the world shouting SPEND SPEND !! in advance of Y2K, to migrate to 90 nm, to have Bluetooth everywhere, to have global internet telephony or whatever. Actually, whatever happened to the "adoption cycle"?
