I have been watching IVAN as close as anyone not working with the hurricane center. There has never been a time since it was being tracked just off the coast of Africa that NOAA has said anything west of about 100 miles off Naples Florida.

I sincerely hope you don't live in Florida as that kind of thinking may cause you to wait too long to evacuate and get yourself and your family hurt.

I stayed in my home for Frances and saw trees do things I would have never believed possible. If they call for any stronger winds here I will be gone a full 24 hours early.

I hear the Gumbo is really good this time of year. (g)
