No matter who wins between Kerry and Bush we will get more war. A lot more war IMO. Kerry is talking about four more years of it. I cannot knowingly vote for four more years of war. Even if Bush might be worse.

Imagine Kerry and the Democrats are driving on the highway to hell at 115 MPH with Kerry the driver wearing welding goggles and getting directions from the rest. Then imagine Bush and the Republicans driving on the highway to hell at 150 MPH with Bush the driver wearing welding goggles and getting directions from the rest. However unlike the Dems the Republicans are taking shots of Jack Daniels, crawling out on the hood of the car and playing mailbox baseball. I guess the next morning if you argued that the Democrats were behaving more responsibly than the Republicans I would have to admit there was a twisted logic to that argument. If one car broke down and a vote was being taken to decide which party would drive today would I vote for the Democrats? I don't think so. I'd rather write in Ringo Starr. If people started screaming "a vote for Ringo is a vote for Bush" would I be pressured into voting for the "more responsible party"? The party that only wants to drive on the highway to hell at 115MPH wearing welding goggles.

I would not VOTE for either party even though logically one is "more responsible" than the other.

Some people can somehow vote for more war by convincing themselves that it will be a "better war". I am not one of those people. I remember Clinton's "Humanitarian war".
