From what I can see through my distris here in germany, that
message is plain wrong. A64 is in good shape. I will repeat
myself. It was a little better a few weeks ago, but supply
is more than stable and healthy. Most problems occur with
3500+, but 3700+ and 3800+ are nearly all the time in stock.

That message is also a little off. When the distris have no
stock, what should we buy? They have to carry something -
thats clear, the question is what is healthy ...
Before the price cut from Intel, distris went VERY VERY DRY
with Intel CPU's. To be precise. They had almost zero PIV,
but still plenty of celerons. After the cut came through,
my distris had ALL PIV in stock!!! NW from 2,8 to 3,4 and
Prescott from 2,8 to 3,6G. It seems now, that again 3,6G is
in short supply, but I wouldn't say it is not available.
