TWST: Would you give us a brief historical sketch of the company and a picture of the things you are doing at the present time? Mr. Sivan: I founded Tactica International in 1987. In fact, I am currently writing a book about the entire direct marketing industry. I started in the mail order catalog business. Then we moved into infomercials when only a couple of people were doing infomercials. We introduced ourselves into the infomercial business with the health and beauty line called IGIA, which ultimately turned out to be the number 15 among the most recognized brand names in personal care in United States. IGIA became a household name in health and beauty products, with about 200 unique and upscale SKUs. The product line ranged from health and beauty cosmetics all the way to patented ionized hair dryers. One of our revolutionary and patented products was the ionized hair dryer. We ultimately sold the product to the Revlon license holder, Helen of Troy. At that same time in, 2000, we sold 55% of our business to Helen of Troy. Until 2004 we had a partnership with Helen of Troy. The business was doing above 100 million a year, with 10%-13% bottom line profit. My partner and I decided to buy the 55% back from Helen of Troy, and to take the IGIA company public. TWST: What was the year you took it public? Mr. Sivan: It was June 2004.
