Ohhhhh, how beautifully unwitting a testimony the Jews provided for us. To those who try to claim the Scripture was doctored, we not only have the very words of Christ, but the confirmation of his testimony from His enemies.. and that with attempted stonings due one who would use God's name in vain or blaspheme.... The 'problem' is that Jesus backed up His claim with his miraculous works, His life, His testimony, and the testimony of His Father.. and the Jews knew it.. but instead of laying aside their damaged pride that 'they' were not the gatekeepers of truth, and the God loved ALL MEN, they chose to 'shoot the messenger'. In this case, have the Romans crucify Him..... but you just 'have' to love the fact the the Lords enemies were given voice in the Scripture as well as Jesus himself. What a wonderful message of truth we have in the Bible. It shows the good, the bad, and the ugly. It shows a Savior who knowing all, died for us anyway. What love! What opportunity to recieve it!!!!
