Jeff. Good thoughts there. Right on!

There aren't many people who would not agree that Jesus Christ was the kindest, most compassionate, peaceful man alive, right?

I using that comment to bring up another subject that relates to the flip side of that.

Christ was one who spoke the truth about what was wrong.
Some how that isn't mentioned when we hear this loving God routine played by non Christians and Christians.

Jesus had no problem unlike todays society saying this or that group, or person, was doing wrong.

That's called intolerance now.
Oh my you can't do that.

We must build relationships gently bringing them along.

I say nothing wrong with relationships, but once we mud God's word where our yes is maybe and our no is maybe we have conformed to the worlds view instead of God's word.

Jesus even called them names to describe their actions.

My point?

In this political correct it takes a village to raise a child not PARENTS being a MAN and a WOMAN which is how GOD designed it to be Jesus is in a lot of people's minds just this loving God who never said anything hurtful which is as far from the truth as the west is from the east.

Yet, people use that loving bit and forget LOVE also includes discipline.

In fact, how can someone love someone without ever correcting their ways?

That is why God's word speaks of molding one into the image of God. We are to be Christlike.

Christ loved all, but he also loved through correction.

No matter what you make. All that you can take. Is what you give away. Vince Gill
