Are you in zone 7? I planted most of my tomatoes and peppers on June 3 and it only began raining this past week. I've had a lot of wasted clouds. But the garden did wake up with some good downpours in the last few days. The days have been basically cooler than usual; one humid day so far.

I see that your potatoes have a lot of straw around their base. Yes? Half of my potatoes are growing in straw and the other half in soil and compost. I just have them in four Smart Pots.

I will be supplying pictures tomorrow, if it is sunny. I took your advice and planted French peas in buckets next to my white colored house. They are doing fabulously well in height with blossoms beginning in the last three days.
