As a quick note on the BB and Pinks - orders are routed to market makers. They are under no obligation to display orders on the book. Further, each market maker will only show his highest bid or lowest offer.

In the case of GNTA, the market is around .01-.02. Your order at .50 is very far from the market, so unless there was a significant move upwards, you wouldn't be able to see your order on the level 2 display (by any provider - we all have the same feed from Nasdaq). If you submitted the order via your broker, it'll exist in the system, it simply won't show up on Level 2 until the market is there and the MM shows it.
