Their starters are definitely not good right now. But their relief pitching can actually be very good--Sherrill, Johnson, Albers, Baez have all be very sharp most of the time (Albers started badly, went down to AAA, and came back a couple of weeks ago and has pitched very well since then). However, Chris Ray and Jamie Walker have been either downright bad (Ray) or inconsistent (Walker). They have at least 3 guys in the minors who have been projected as number 1-3 starters (Tillman, Arietta, Matusz), plus Hernandez and Berken. And a couple of relievers who have been dominant as closers (a 145 pound guy (!) in AA, and a big guy who throws heat in AAA).

Whatever, it's been a decade since Oriole fans have been legitimately excited about their prospects. About time!
