That article is also telling us that Intel is trying to empty the pipeline of the old chips without just having to throw them away. As this supply is exhausted, the pipeline must be refilled and that will take a large number of chips.

We are knew that inventory reductions would have to take place. Although all of the box makers are competitors, they work together to bring out new technology.

What they did not directly say is "once these are gone, all chip sets will include TPM, but that is what is implied."

I will be watching more weather forecasts than stocks for the next week.
