I still think it would be very simple to have a few people reading PR's and making phone calls. Hell, I'd take the job. I'd love to hear the reaction of some of these scammers, when getting a phone call from the SEC, asking questions. Would they stop the scams? Maybe not as a whole, but I'll bet some of them would be less likely to be so ridiculous in their claims. As it is now, someone could start a company, offering taxi service to the moon, put out PR after PR, stating how they've built settlements and are ready to start shuttling people over. Obviously, that would be an insane company to invest in, because it's so apparently implausible. However, with no one to stop them, I'm sure they could get some people to believe it. In fact, Pavis would probably acquire them at some point. LOL
