Good afternoon, K2. It took me awhile to get back to your post, as I am in the process of packing for the hunting trip. Usually when I go away, I will get my things together a few days before, pack them in the selected luggage, then for the next few days, repack them. I usually end up with nearly the same stuff I packed the first time, after having added and subtracted a bunch of things that at the time were thought to be essential. The mind is a wonderful thing to have and a terrible thing to lose. Mine isn't lost. I just forget where I put it.

I wish there were a requirement for network news programs to actually present news and not just the stories of the day. The talking heads disgust me and I wish not to get started on them, as my blood pressure goes up a few points when I do. Nearly all of the news programs are left-leaning. Fox was an exception for awhile. If one wants the real news, one must surf the net and read at least two newspapers a day. One from New York and one from the real world (LOL).

I believe in giving a person who is down on his/her luck a hand up, not a handout. I would pay much more in taxes if there were programs available to train these people for jobs. I would even like to see day care for their kids, medical benefits, etc., AS LONG AS THEY WORKED HARD AND GOT PASSING GRADES IN THE PROGRAM. If they quit, goof off, or don't get a passing grade, benefits end. I totally agree with your idea of a BC shot for the benefit check. The shots are not permanent. I have no idea how someone could think it is my responsibility to take care of their b#$%^@d child.

Enjoy your day at the workplace, and vote with your mind and conscience.
regards,
