Thanks Dreamrchaser! I think you are right. I hope it goes as quickly as the 17th!
So do you think they'll have 6 or 7 drills going on at the same time or are they focusing on one at a time? That was kind of the feeling I had, especially since it mentioned reps. from each company overseeing the site. I'm hoping they have atleast 7 drills (one for each co.) going on at the same time! That could mean quick progress.

And since we're on the topic of drilling. I read something yesterday that made me think that of course they drill and excavate the shallower (basin) areas first for obvious reasons and that those areas are generally going to have the smaller diamonds. Someone mentioned it could be a couple of years of excavating the shallower areas before the deep pipes are explored and the bigger diamonds are mined.
Does this sound right to any of you miners out there?
