gatticaa: as a for instance: on the back of my Blackberry Storm, etched into the phone is "Qualcomm 3G CDMA".

That is a stipulation that that goes into a licensing deal. If RIM did not want that on the back of their Storm phones, maybe Qualcomm would have raised the price per unit or yearly licensing fee. or there would have been something other exhange/concession by RIM.

But, no, there is no "creative" book, it is a big chess game, with no chess board. But, now the time crunch is getting more prevalent, so moves need to be made.
