It is my undertanding that the department has not published a position piece on this. It is simply the case. Obviously the activities of the Defense department are more encouraging for Wave investors, as it seems the DoD seems to be more willing to wrap its head arounf the TPM/TCG/ERAS space.

Obviously if you want to debunk my facts for lack of link, do so.

Know this, an 80 billion dollar (annual) department requiring featurs to be off is simply the case.

Look to the DoD to provide leadership here (or maybe the DoJ will come up to speed). But there is some real slogging with some very fat Departments. I would love to hear from folks in Commerce or HHS, but my contacts there don't really know much on this.

My understanding is Agriculture is a definite NO, HHS is all over the map, DoD is YES but still sussing it out, Interior is a NO as I understand it, Commerce isn't huge, Education is a totally unknown, and so on.

Agriculture is migrating to 2-factor in short order, defense is largely there (according to my information) and generally all departments are lining up for 2-factor but NOT on TPM enabled equipment.

It is not just waiting for a full replacement cycle, their IT guys really think this stuff will screw with their imaging and replication routines.

Its that simple.

The above content is my opinion.
