I'm totally amazed that there hasn't been more discussion of the info that howdy posted earlier. If he's right, there is no naked short, and while I haven't read all the posts here, I haven't seen anyone refute the info.

Also if correct, perhaps the moderators should delete a few thousand posts regarding naked MM shorts of CMKX.

Jim, I was told by the STGI trader (and confirmed by two other sources) that CMKX is a "non qualifying piggyback" issue, and that MMs cannot buy or short CMKX for a profit. MMs for CMKX can only facilitate trades for investors, and profit from the spread.

Therefore, naked shorting of CMKX is not allowed by MMs.
