The only question I have about the stress test is how much cover-up is required to convince investors to swallow the PR. Fascinating time in our history. Not that it's indicative of what's going on in all markets but the recession has been going on long enough that I am watching my receivables age necessitating placing some customers on credit hold. It's certainly bad enough when consumers are in financial trouble, but it's beginning to show up in wholesale distribution channels. I expect the banks aren't telling us the entire story. I also don't believe we will be told the truth about the stress tests. If the results were good they'd be falling over each other to trumpet the story. What they appear to be doing is consulting amongst themselves to get the "story" right.
