I took a long walk this afternoon in anticipation of a big dinner at 3. The temperature was up to 43, but the Montreal Express was blowing out of the north.

I like that companion post. I plant scallions, chives and onions in the area where I grow my tomatoes. They seem to get along quite fine.

I'm eager for the warm weather. A neighbor, who hurt her back last year, called me to take 35 dying new perennials. I nursed them as well as possible and then planted them in my and another neighbor's garden. Used a lot of compost at the base of each hole, as well. I planted a few Agastache and Poe Pye Weeds near the tomato patch to attract bees.

Hope you become a regular on this board.
