Not scientific breakdown, but the obvious MR on Tiger and/or Phil:

Tiger - Puts more value on winning (anytime, anywhere) than good performance, solid play, purse, stature, location, etc...

Phil - Feels he can win if the above are in the right place, but needs to have several of the key components in place BEFORE he feels he can win

Analysis:

Tiger - Grinder = #1
Phil - Not a grinder = #2
