I don't understand why the compound is first referred to as a nucleotide, but then under the "About PSI-7851" section, they call it a nucleoside.
The term nucleoside has two connotations: i) the structure shown in the left side of the graphic in #msg-34771363; and ii) a class consisting of both kinds of structures shown in #msg-34771363.
PSI-78512 is a nucleotide analog, as is IDX’s IDX184. The latter meaning of the term nucleoside (i.e. the structure class) is the one that VRUS is using in today’s PR.
