For specrate fp I think you are right. But in many ways this is the ideal benchmark for AMD. The hypertransport/integrated memory controller do very well here.
But it is only one benchmark. Other important server benchmarks are not so favorable. Though I am not suprised that Specrate is suddenly the most important measure here:)
