Ron responded to my email again. I asked him for some news he might be able to share. He lost me there at the end. I am not sure what he was talking about when he kept saying your business.
You can report that I communicate regularly with Dr. Tirotta and Erika (pretty much daily); I have given the CFO some time to concentrate on her role regarding “corporate documents,” although I did send her an e-mail as recently as Monday; and Erika and I have several communications and marketing projects building momentum.
Furthermore, let everyone know that in recent weeks there have been several days were a less experienced IR rep would have let slip information that would have lead to rumor without the verifying data being made ready as an inexperienced person would not have anticipated. I work to deal with fact, rather than supposition. Were it not for my previous experience with these scenarios, many shareholders would now be anxious that what I might have mentioned was still in a non-disclosed state. Happily, no such breaches have occurred.
In the past month I have also spoken with other key players central to your business. Because I have coordinated certain activities to help your company provide transparency to regulatory bodies (note the plural) and because—and without request—I have been grated access to non-SEC filing documents, both important and less vital, I therefore have confidence in your company’s intent to provide greater transparency going forward. However, this does not suggest that timetables are in any way imminent. It also specifically does not mean that your company has filed any new SEC filings.
To stress a point, Erika and I have pet projects (non-material) that have long been on the drawing board. Given a tweak here and there as circumstances and time required, the two of us still expect to launch these projects for you.
Lastly, you may share the fact that I personally have had some very positive calls from overseas about your company, calls unrelated to investor relations.
I impart this knowledge not to invite speculation, but to rather to serve as a guideline that might help investors straighten out their expectations, to provide a stabilizing force meant to help counter gyrating emotions.
