Dell's quarter and fiscal year ended 2/1/2009. That means January would be the time they pushed in as many sales as they could. That number then rolls to Wave for January.
However, very few established tech companies have Q4-Q1 relative growth. You have to compare Q1-Q1 for a more realistic view. If you look at Q4-Q1 for relative growth, you will most often be disappointed. That's just the non-govt tech buying cycle.
