Like it's true Barney Frank didn't help with the Fannie May/Freddie Mac situation though he's accused by republicans of being at the heart of our current housing debacle

But what Gramm did......pushing that deregulation...that is a keystone in the arch at the heart of the problem

2nd was Congress as a whole not doing a damn thing about it once the cows were out of the barn and the CDS problem escalated into the monstrosity it is now
