gilead: homeowners in trouble

A large percentage of foreclosed homeowners in Maryland are African-Americans. During the real estate bubble scam mortgage days, black areas were targeted. PBS did a documentary on this, interviewing Congressional Black Caucus leader Rep. Elijah Cummings.

I would venture a guess that nationwide, the majority of owners who have been foreclosed or face foreclosure of "resale market" homes (not new contruction) are African Americans. Other cities were identified in the PBS show.

And making a bad situation worse--when you have a heavy concentration of foreclosures in one area in a city--in move the squatters, who usually are druggies.

This is one miserable mess.
