Remond said in one part of the article that "according to Pacific", they'd not been acting as CMKX's TA since the early afternoon of July 1. That isn't "news" that Joel possessed.

In addition: Remond DID speak with Urbie and Glenn, so why shouldn't we assume she spoke with Pacific as well? She isn't the kind of reporter who'd consider Joel a "source".

For that matter, she's probably never even heard of Joel. I doubt she wastes her time listening to IBC Radio.
